DDR Group of Colleges recently hosted its annual athletic meet held on dates from 4 March to 5 March. The day was filled with fun-filled activities and competitions. The sports meet saw participation from students from all departments of the college. Each event was highly competitive, and the participants tried their best to win. The day ended with the presentation of awards to the winners of each event. It was a memorable day, and the students left the college grounds with smiles on their faces. The sports meet was a great success and a true testament to the spirit of sportsmanship.

The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic enthusiasm at DDR Group of Colleges, Gurugram. amidst the cloudy morning of 25th January 2023. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag and was accompanied by the rendition of the National Anthem. The programme moved forward with an incredible display of a parade by the college students. The energetic performances by the Dramatics Club and the infectious beats of bhangra filled the crowd with great energy and enthusiasm. The field of Pharmacology focuses upon the foundation and approaches to systems of physiology, biochemistry, molecular pharmacology, genetics and neuroscience. A primary objective of Pharmacology is to investigate fundamental aspects of molecular bio-regulatory mechanism of the cell, for the purpose of understanding how drugs act and in order to develop new drugs for treatment of disease.
The Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry is one of the four academic units in the College of Pharmacy. Its teaching mission include instruction in Pharmaceutical Chemistry to the students of D. Pharma. The Department's research enterprise is diverse, with both basic science and clinical interests in medicinal chemistry, natural products, drug discovery, structural biology, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, computational chemistry, target bioassays, chemical toxicology, and others.
Department of Pharmaceutics: Pharmaceutics is concerned with the strategies by which biologically active compounds are presented to the body so as to elicit an optimal response. Included are the design, formulation, preparation and testing of drug-delivery systems. There are two major areas of emphasis found in the current research in the Department of Pharmaceutics at DDR College of Pharmacy.
Qualified, dedicated faculty members of this department are always keen to show their talents by way of technical lectures, innovations in teaching and tutorials for making skilled, better and effective practical knowledgeable Pharmaceutical Technologists in order to build up good citizens in future.

The department of pharmaceutics is expertise in research areas such as ocular drug delivery systems, targeted drug delivery system, mucoadhesive drug delivery system and use of natural polymers as pharmaceutical excipients. The department has made of significant contribution to the research field in terms of research publication and collaborative project works.
